01Founder story

From freelance developer to founder.

Said Gouzal began his career in 2020 as a freelance web developer, taking websites and web applications for independent clients from first requirements to deployment. He then joined Luceom Technology as a full-stack developer, and from 2021 to 2023 worked remotely for Fineo Services, a London-based company, as Full-Stack & DevOps Engineer on a personal finance product for the web, iOS and Android.

At Akkodis Maroc, he worked on KubixLink, Lectra's cloud product lifecycle management (PLM) platform, tailoring it to each of Lectra's fashion clients. He then moved into technical leadership. As Tech Lead & Project Manager at Stryve Solutions and then Winity Partner, he defined system architecture, set engineering standards, owned release pipelines and AWS infrastructure, and led a team of eight engineers.

In 2026 he founded Atlaxys Consulting, a software development and technology consulting company based in Morocco. It is built on a simple rule: the people who advise a client are the people who build the system, and they stay responsible for it once it is live.

As Lead Engineer, Said sets the technical direction of Atlaxys projects: architecture, technology choices, engineering standards and delivery. He still writes production code, including as contract tech lead for Nexus Inclusion, a SaaS platform he first worked on at Stryve Solutions.

05Engineering principles

How Said approaches a project.

These principles come from six years of product work, and they shape how Atlaxys projects are run.

  1. 01

    Stay close to the code

Technical leadership is most useful when the person making architecture decisions still reviews changes and writes production code. Problems surface early, and estimates stay realistic.

In practiceRuns code review and change verification as tech lead, from the team of eight at Stryve Solutions to Nexus Inclusion today, and mentored engineers through code review at Fineo.

  2. 02

    Write the standards down

A codebase stays maintainable when everyone works to the same written rules: coding standards, review criteria and one shared workflow. New developers get up to speed faster, and quality does not depend on who wrote the code.

In practiceWrote the engineering manifesto, coding standards and review criteria the Nexus Inclusion frontend team works to.

  3. 03

    Automate the path to production

Releases should be routine: tested automatically, deployed by a pipeline and running on infrastructure defined as code. Shipping a new version then never depends on one person's memory.

In practiceOwned frontend CI/CD and AWS infrastructure at Stryve Solutions, automating deployments with CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines and Terraform.

  4. 04

    Start from the business requirement

Technology choices follow from what the business needs, agreed in plain language before anyone writes code.

In practiceWorked daily with Lectra's product owner and affiliate teams to turn business requirements into precise technical solutions.

  5. 05

    Build security and accessibility in

Security practices, testing and accessibility are part of the design from the start, not a final check before launch.

In practiceApplied security best practices to a product connected to third-party banking APIs, and designed Budgeviser around accessibility.
